John Huggins is a Senior Research Engineer at the Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2000 and a Masters of Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2010. In addition, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School in 2006. Mr. Huggins primary area of research is the development of applied systems engineering methods for government and industry customers. His current projects involve development of decision making tools for the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps with the Future Army EW Systems Engineering Toolset (FAEWSET) and Framework for Assessing Cost and Technology (FACT), respectively. Furthermore, Mr. Huggins served ten years in the U. S. Navy as an EA-6B and EA-18G Naval Flight Officer with assignments as an EA-18G Developmental Test Project Officer and EA-18G Flight Instructor.
